Tom Bardwell – Managing Director

Tom has worked in H&S for over 20 years having previously been a Site Manager and Project Manager within Construction. Tom has worked for SME’s and was National H&S Manager for a large construction company prior to heading up Torney. Tom enjoys the array of different Clients and the diverse needs of each and strives to maintain the same standard for each regardless of size or turnover.

Outside of work, Tom spends his time with his family but enjoys playing golf, running and going to watch football whether that be his son playing or his favourite team Liverpool.

Harry Greenbank – Senior Health & Safety Consultant

Harry is our senior health and safety consultant; he has worked in the industry for the past 15 years. He has had various roles from training to consultancy, from warehousing, logistics to construction. He is passionate about sending people home safely each day, every day.

Harry studied Criminology at Lincoln University, then went to Australia travelling with a bit of Southeast Asia before coming back, buying and running a pub!.

In his spare time, he coaches two youth football teams that both of his sons play for, he is an avid Liverpool FC fan. He is excited about the direction of Torney and what the future holds. “We won’t stop until we’ve achieved all of our goals.

Robert Barns – Junior Health & Safety Consultant

Robert is our junior health and safety consultant; and has been at Torney since August 2022. His role includes report writing and compiling project documents/health and safety files/policy & arrangements to on-site inspections. He has been involved with health and safety for the past 4 years starting off in the logistics industry before moving to Torney.

In his spare time Robert enjoys watching American football, he played for a under 18’s American football team in London growing up.

He is excited about the growth and aspirations of the company, looks forward to being a part of it and to contributing to the team we have as much as possible. He has recently started clay pigeon/rifle shooting and hopes to get a license to progress further in the future.

Angela Murdoch – Admin Support

Angela works in an admin support role at Torney, she joined us in June 2022. Her role is to compile the O&M H&S files for clients at the end of a job.  She describes it a bit like doing a jigsaw – identify the pieces, obtain them, then put all together to create a final picture.

In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, regularly walking with her daughter and dog. She is a rugby fan and used to have a season ticket at Northampton Saints, as well as going to watch Scotland in the 6 nations every year. She feels very privileged to be part of the Torney journey and describes the company as fast-paced, exciting with interesting times ahead.

Adam Munton – Junior Health & Safety Consultant

Adam is our Junior health and safety consultant, and joined us in September 2023. His role includes on site inspections, report writing and compiling project documents/H&S files/policy and arrangements. Before joining the team, Adam was a retail store manager, where as part of the job he took on a number of tasks involving health and safety, with this being his first step into the construction industry.

In his spare time Adam enjoys walking his dog Lola, cycling, paddle boarding, golf (occasionally) and playing football. He has been a Leicester City supporter for as long as he can remember!
